HEALTH KITS & NEW BARS OF SOAP will be collected thru May 2 to take to LWR along with the quilts.

BRIEF HISTORY OF QUILTING AT ST. PETER’S—In 1968, 41 blankets were collected and sent to Lutheran World Relief. On October 14, 1970, Marilyn Baum, organized our quilting group. Between 1970 and 2009 at least 4,777 quilts have been sent from St. Peter’s, along with many other quilts to LWR. This year we send approximately 141 quilts to LWR. ThANK YOU to our dedicated quilters for volunteering of their gift of quilting and time to help those in need. May the Lord Bless and Keep you in His care.
